Day 5 - July 9th - By Megan

Today we had two gala performances. Our first performance was in the town of Lubin which had a small but enthusiastic crowd. One thing that truly amazes us is that they set up a giant stage with lights and a background for every single show even if it's in a small town, just on a field with a crowd of about 100 people.

After this show, we headed back to Legnica to perform in another show. It was a great experience mingling with the other groups back stage. The other groups included Kurds, Serbs, Mexicans, Slovakians, Poles, Columbians, Taiwanese, and Indonesians. Some of the Serbians have taken a liking to our group and we have become friends with a few of them. My favorite dance of the night was a hunting dance performed by the Mexicans. Our performance during this show was a bit of a struggle since people needed to catch up on sleep and we had already had a performance in the sun earlier in the day but the show was pulled off nonetheless.
